Are there any tips that would help to reconnect the foot brake lever rod in the steering clutch compartment? This is the clevis end that has a pin and washer on it--seems to impossible to get at with my old fingers. thanks

I have removed steering clutch and I have a question. The snap ring that is expanded by the three pins on the inner shaft--is that ring one with a square cross section? Do I have to remove parts of the JD loader valve body fender mount to remove the left steering clutch on my 2010?? Will the clutch pack clear these fender mount parts? If things need to be removed--which ones? The rear of this machine has the mounting for a backhoe but no hoe. Thanks
