1010 winch - all the same?
I have a 1010 gas Dozer That I am looking to put a winch on. I Found a reasonably priced one that seems legit. Guy said it come off a 1010 that he currently owns and he has no need for it. All controls are available. I'm aware it may need some work like most old equipment My question is - do all the...

1010 parts cross to 350?
I've just finished my first repair project on a 1010c and it seems I've been bitten by the crawler bug. I have my eye on a straight 350 but it needs some work. Why would we buy one that doesn't? My question is, I have some leftover 1010 parts that I would hope would allow me to repair the 350. Will ...

Thanks
Guys, thanks for the feedback this far. I've read some other posts also for more info. Truck is an f250 super duty and dozer is currently a 1010c gas with 6 way inside blade. I figure the dozer weighs 8k from reading other posts. I'm looking at (3) 20' + length GN trailers of 14k GVW minimum. One is...

How do you guys truck your dozers?
I'm a new dozer owner, and have a smaller bumper pull trailer behind my 2000 F250 diesel. It pulls ok, but isn't the best setup. It worked good for the skid steer, but the dozer is a bit heavier. I'm thinking about an upgrade to a gooseneck and would like advice on GVW, axles(tandem or tri?) length,...

Fixed
Ok guys(and gals?), I've been able to fix it up. I had another similar valve, that was only a 2 spool, that I was able to remove a spool from and install in my 3 spool. That seems to of done the trick for my down pressure. Additionally, I fixed up the 12 connections on the linkage for the T handle. ...

I'm sensing that there is no hope for my factory valve and T handle assembly? I was kind of liking that single point of control with the blade. I've been digging and found this joystick control which keeps me pretty close. http://m.ebay.com/itm/3-SPOOL-25-GPM-PRINCE-JOYSTICK-LOADER-CONTROL-VALVE-WIT...

Lavoy, I don't see a place for o-rings on the spool. (It's apart on my bench now because I didn't believe him either) There are cup seals at each end. They said it was spool that is wore, resulting in bypass. OR Do the o-rings go in the valve body and mine are completely gone? I've never come across...

6 way hydraulic valve on 1010
Need some assistance on a hydraulic valve. I have very little down pressure on my blade, after some diagnosing, I figured it was the hydraulic valve that controls the blade assembly on my 1010c(has the factory T handle). I tried to take to a local hydraulic shop to get rebuilt, but they say it's too...

Finally broke some ground!
Well, after 4 months of tinkering with this thing, I finally broke ground with it. I'll try to post a video of it. I will say, it's gratifying using a machine after working on it for such a period of time. Couple questions though, I don't seem to have good down pressure on blade with direct downward...

Dumb question considering all the work I've done...
While I've rebuilt a good portion of this machine, I failed to recognize the alternator/fan belt was not in the best of shape prior to reassembly(dumb move I know). My question is: how in the world do I remove the belt without tearing half the front end apart? There has to be a trick here somewhere....

I can't see where a fiber would go behind the snap ring on these 1010 clutches. The clutch discs and steel drop in the drum and around the center hub. I have a couple drums and plates sitting around here I'll take a 2nd look at to be sure I have them right. (Good part about buying a parts machine) I...
