Also this is one I bought from you 4-5 years age. It's been a great machine.
Also, there doesn't appear to be any oil in the clutch housing, just kinda rusty. I WILL be making a new gasket for both inspection covers!!!

Hello, all. I've got a 40 C that the left steering clutch is stuck. From the forums here and other places, I'm assuming the fiber plates swelled and I can't push the fingers down any farther. From what I've found out, I dedided not to mout a 3 pt. More work than I care to do at this time.

Newbie here. I was supprised to learn that JD made 2 cyl. crawlers so long. I know of one that the Ser,# is 441442. Can anyone tell me about when it was made? Dealer says early '70's. It's for sale at $3500. Seems like a good price to me. Needs some TLC, but not as bad as a few I've seen. Also has s...
