CHA011,
I still have almost all of the 165 diesel from my switch. It has a spun main. What all were you looking for?

Both the gas and diesel engines could have either a suction or blower fan. In my case they were both suction, but to me it didn't matter either way.

I'll try to remember everything. :) A lot of research and thinking went into this project, the next one should go pretty fast. Some things I switched over from the diesel, like the alternator conversion I had done. I used the diesel flywheel, because the gas came with a bronze bushing of a dif...

I recently finished my 2010 switch from diesel to gas. I was lucky enough to find a 165 gas for the conversion. I had to do a little fabricating, but am very happy with the results. Dozer now runs like a champ. :D

Good news, it fits like a glove :D And so far everything from the diesel that I need to switch to this engine has been no problem. I do have to come up with the linkage parts to make the switch to gas. Anybody got an old 2010 gas donor machine?

I had read that thread over a bunch of times. The way I read it, the early HA165D and the HA145G were a direct fit. This is a HA165G that suposidly came from a 45 combine, but I can't be sure. And not noing what it came from I'm at a loss as to what year it is. I'm I correct to assume that it will f...

2010 fuel problem?

Dozer starts right up but runs like it has a miss, and it really lacks power. Cracking each one of the injectors does make differance though. AS it runs every once and a while there will be a pretty good puff of black smoke and then for a couple of seconds it seems to run great. Am I looking at an i...

Any ideas for sources and possible prices? This is the early style. Or any ideas where I might get mine redone?
