That was an old CleTrac in the background on the trailer. It did not have an engine. I can't remember where he was from but he showed up at several of the NC tractor shows that year trying to sell that old CleTrac. He wanted way more than it was worth.

I can second the use of the Battery Tender. I have two 6V and a 12 V that I use on crawlers and tractors.

FortGary,
Looks like your serial number plate is missing or just may be painted over. The spot it should be is under the gas filter in that one photo. You can see the rivet on the right side that holds in on.

317 Crawler

I don't know about you guys but, I WANT ONE OF THESE! This was at one of the NC area tractor shows last fall. I know nothing about it. I intended to talk to the guy but every time I stopped by his display, he wasn't around. He did steer by the lever on his left armrest so he may have had some sort o...

From a collectors point of view, I would not if I was planning on keeping it for my collection. If I was using it for parts for my other collectable machines - OK.

I have bought two of the Battery Minder Plus units. http://www.thebatteryminder.com/6vbatteryminder-p-28.html?osCsid=190d315ec7aa49c40c4981e1567fa5e7 I've had them for about a year now and have been pleased so far. The batteries are always ready to go when I am. I have them hooked to one fairly new ...

I use Kroil. It's pricy but worth it when you don't want to mess something up. For the general stuff, I use PB Blaster. Cheaper so you can wash stuff down with it. I also have some industrial stuff that I appropriated 20+ years ago and the gallon jug has long since lost it's label so no idea what it...

Brettjones had asked for a picture of my tractormover. Sorry it took so long to get it but I had to get it back from the guy I had loaned it to. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/ncstlrwy/Tractormover.jpg It's pretty simple. It's not first class tool either but I just cobbled it up one day...

The muffler should be silver but all of them come painted black. See JR Hobbs book "The Little Giants" if there is any doubt on the correct color. I have used the Dulicolor High Temp and it's OK but much perfer the VHT Flameproof from Speco. It seems to hold up better for me. It's rated at 1500 deg....
