WOW...what a way to go.

A neighbor of ours lost an arm a few days ago in a corn picker. Muck like men did in the 60's. He is old enough to know better but became relaxed around running machinery.

I found a 2 and 1/2 yrd. scraper...in Alabama. Appears 50's design. I'm spread thin these coming weeks and know of no one near it.

Calculating independent haulers.

Thinking out loud here.

Gave this topic some more thought...while clearing trees out of a fence line (widening fieds) this afternoon with our 450C. I side with the tracked equipment idea. Gave much thought to how easy(er) it is using the crawler..and can spin on a dime in close quarters. Personally feel more comfortable si...

I bought a crawler about 1 year ago. Knew nothing than...slightly more now. We bought a 450C, wet clutches, 4 Cyl Deisle, ready to run. Knowing nothing of crawlers but some things about metal...I rationalized the pruchase...when I penciled it out at 50 cents a pound. Thought I couldn't go wrong in t...

As I understand it...from coast to coast...in the lower 48.....fence laws are different in every state. Iowa uses what is called "The right hand rule". Facing the fence you own the right hand half and are legally bound to maintain fence...even to keep in the neighbor's cows. When I read 10 miles?......

I was contemplating filling in with brass...then drilling out. Leaning towards the logic the remaining brass would "self lubricate" the piviot points.
