Re: 1010 backhoe buck tooth shank

That should work. Have you checked your local equipment dealers and rental houses? They may have one on the shelf. Cost wise it might be a wash if you don't have to pay any shipping.

Re: zenith 14997 carb

Have you tried contacting the vendor you bought it from for the instructions? Searching on line it looks like the 14997 is a 267 series carb. This sheet may help you: https://www.steinertractor.com/pdfs/ABC232.pdf No guarantee it's right.

Re: 1010 backhoe buck tooth shank

Good evening Bret, Are you looking for one shank to match what you have for teeth, or are you looking for a full set with teeth you can replace? Over the years, and even now, there were/are a number of shank and tooth combinations used during the same time periods. If you are trying to match one to ...

Re: Is there an easy way to time balance shafts from underneath?

The lobes of both balance shafts will be up or down at the same time. If the right side balance shaft is such that the lobe is out, flat face in and vertical, the left shaft lobe should be out and the flat face in and vertical.

Re: 350B reverser control stuck in neutral

Welcome to the Board. Not a serious thing but your 350B questions should be on the Late Model Board, so don't be surprised to find it has been moved over there. Without seeing it, I would say rust has gotten to your linkage if the lever doesn't wiggle. I would start by following the linkage and see ...

Re: 2001 455G Transmission input shaft

Welcome to the board. With a 450G you are on the new end of most equipment discussed here. Do you have the technical manual set (TM1403 and TM1404) for your machine? There may be info on doing this in them. Looking at the on-line parts catalog, I did find a short shaft in the transverse case, called...

Re: 450E Transmission

I will say no, the clutch pack will not come out without removing something, as the front quill has to come out to remove the clutch pack. The technical manual removes the HLR transmission, differential, and final drives as an assembly, I would expect removing the engine would work as well. What are...

Re: Straight 450 winch oil level plug location

I don't have a good answer for you on this, I have limited info on the 3320 winch. From what I have found the level plug and drain plug are the same (1-1/8" hex) so I expect you are right on that. The couple pictures I've found in a 450B book look like they changed the location of the level plug on ...

Re: return of fuel injector

If the fuel level in the tank is higher than the place you cut the line to fix it, fuel from the tank will come out.

Re: return of fuel injector

It should be an unrestricted line, with no valve, for return fuel, so fuel could come out it if the fuel level in the tank is above your cut point.

Re: return of fuel injector

You should have/use 4 Tees. The metal return line from the injection pump goes up and connects to the front branch of the tee on the #1 injection nozzle. From there the return goes to #2 tee, then #3 tee, last to #4 tee using short metal jumper lines. The rear facing branch opening on the #4 tee sho...

You could add your general location to your profile. Someone might know of something in your area, if that info is visible.

Re: early 1010c loader need help

Welcome to the Board. Just to review some basics to be sure we are on the same page and terminology. Your loader boom valve should have 4 positions. (The bucket valve only has three: Dump-Neutral, Roll Back). Springs on the boom valve spool should center it in neutral when you release the handle, ho...
