i know what a skid plate is the 350 plate dont look any thicker to me in that pic than a 2010 plate. i have done mine a 2010 every time i took it off 3 or 4 times in the last 42 years two blocks of wood 2x4 on each side of the bend and swing you cant use a tack hammer

bent skid plate

on my 2010 i just use 8 to 12 pound sledge works just fine just measure the width of the rails and make it the same width after you get the bottom somewhat flat

do you have power to both tracks? if so than you dont have a bad clutch. A bad brake or adj.or linkage is where to look

sounds like the armature is draging on the fields if the arm is not shorted or has been so over heated that it flung the solder then you can rebuild it yourself new brushes and bushings there should be three bushings in that starter make sure you do all three i have had people tell me that the cente...

The special grease gun was not for the track adjusters it is for the rollers and idlers ONLY. the adjusters take reg. grease and a std. gun

a low pressure gun does exist Alemite #4035 1800 psi vs 10000 it is made for thick oil they cost about $150

most of the time if you dont lose any shims it should come right back in spec if you are useing the same gear set also if you have or can get an older motors manual (50 S) it will show you what the gear wipe should look like
