Thank you, i'll see what they have to say! Send me a PM with your email address and I'll email you the quote. All of the 350's rails are the same except for the number of links. The single grouser pads are a four bolt pad instead of the two bolt pads which have not been made for many, many, many ye...

Re: 440 ICD Pins and Bushings
For that kind of money you should scrap what you have and do a 350 upgrade. Price everything out for a straight 350, you may have to remove a link. I got pricing for under 3800.00 for new sprocket rims, pads, chain, nuts and bolts a few months ago.

Re: Track pads and chains.
I can't comment an wear since the tracks are off and not under tension to be able to do a pin to pin measurement. I can get pictures if you would like, but it's about 45 minutes away from where I currently live, so please tell me specifically what and how you want me to photograph the tracks so tha...

Hi, Come to think on it, my 1950 M does not have the gas tank vent line, but a vented cap....which dribbles gas out the top if I overfill it and it expands faster than I burn it..... Stan Yes Stan, the gas dripping out of the cap sounds familiar. I have learned to only put two or three gallons in t...

Early 420 will not have a vent line. It is possible you have a non vented cap installed. Lavoy That makes sense lavoy, I have a 56, 420. And I am 99.9% positive there is no vent line. My gas cap does hiss from time to time to release the tank pressure. So traber1 you must not have a vented cap inst...

Hi, No pressure on those. There is a vent line which heads downwards as it also acts as an overflow line. Yours is plugged. Probably by a mud dauber wasp nest. Stan Edit: Or, bent plugged. I have seen that, too. Stan I never noticed this vent line on a 420 gas tank. Where is this vent line located?...

Re: Gearmatic 8A Winch Bearings
Andrew, I just completely rebuilt my 8a including the bearings/seals in the mounting plate and the controller last winter. I made a list of all of the new bearings, seals, and places I got work done on the winch. I can't seem to find it at the moment, I know I sent a email to paul buhler with all of...

Re: mc
I think the first "factory" winch was for the 40 - 3 roller if I remember correctly. Which was the next model after the mc.ralph newman wrote:everything but winch-- john deere never had a factory winch for mc. ralph
