The reason I ask about hoods and grills is I messed up and was running yesterday and may or may not have totally destroyed the grill and put a rather large dent in the hood

I appreciate you answering my questions in a timely fashion. I do have one more question I know the M's sheet metal is the same as the mc but is there a company out that makes replacement sheet metal? I've looked everywhere and all I can seem to find is used stuff.

Well let's start off by saying I am new to this forum and just purchased a 1952 john deere mc two days ago it runs like a top and steers beautifully. It has a belt drive, pto and the mc 1000 tool carrier someone recently painted it and did somewhat of a good job doing so (not really to my standards ...
