I took my old assault rifle to a cast bullet, military rifle match last weekend. Don't ask.  I need to do some load and operator work it would seem. Best I could do with iron sights was about a 6" group at 200 yds. Couldn't get the selector switch off of single shot so my rate of ...

Track pads

How much advantage to 14" vs 12"??

Will 40 pads fit a 420? Both 2 bolt and both meas approx 6". I did not meas rail notches. Are grouser pads readily available in very good condition??

Almost, nearly, just about totally useless, but............ I stopped in a gun shop last weekend and on the shelf was a new Thompson, drum mag and all. I shouldn't have, but I picked it up. Haven't had one in my hands since VN. I have to think it would be a blast chasing coyotes or tin cans ...

If you need the loader first, fix it and install the reverser in it. Then while you are doing the dozer, look for a complete reverser from a parts crawler, or buy another parts crawler  , see where this is going don't ya? Lavoy Yeah, well, when I mentioned the loader to my wife she drug her fi...

Tiger, 3 weeks back the ground got super saturated and the bank behind my shop gave way. It trapped pools of water and water was running out of the hillside all over the place. Most wet springs I've ever seen. I've been fighting a flooded office and shop off and on for three weeks as it kept letting...

I think stupid might be setting in......

I don't have my 420 dozer running yet (haven't even started on it) and I'm thinking of buying a 420 loader crawler (also a basket case). The thing is, I will need a loader first for a major job. I have a small JD 4 wheel dr tractor but the loader is SMALL. I need to move some material. I won'...

I posted that and yes that looks very similar to the one I looked at. I think the angling part was slightly different.

I sent you a PM.

Go down to the hunting section and take a look at the "bunny hunt" with the BAR. No kidding, a friend of his went bunny hunting with it. :shock...

[ Seriously, its one of those deals where you've wanted something for years, but tried to save for the Future instead. Saving/investing hasn't worked out all that well, so its time to get a few things you've yearned for! Pat[/quote] Yep, that's why I have a Shiloh Sharps, and a couple of highwalls, ...

The real question.......are you a good mechanic??????????

That tractor looks like a money pit to me. It's had some bubba work already and looks a little tired.

On the other hand, when you get everything fixed you will have a good tractor and know what's been done. About $$$$$ later.

Only a photo is really going to tell you if it's been worked over. It would seem pushing a blade would put far more stress on the side pieces than pulling a tool. Also that very short lift arm along with almost no leverage (very short distance from pivot point to lift point) must make for a weak abi...

The lift system is for the MC1000, #1000 tool carrier. The arms may or may not be from the same as there was never an angle dozer setup for the tool carrier. If you keep clicking on the pic in the upper LH corner of this page, you should get a pic of an MC with an MC1000 tool carrier on the rear. L...
