Re: 2010 crawler dogs down in reverse

OK...I would suggest first taking a close look at the steering brakes visually and possibly with a bore scope to determine if there may be oil getting to the brakes...or critters and other junk...after seeing if contaminated you should probably try to adjust the steering brakes, which sometimes requ...

Welcome aboard! please add your location to your profile...access is in drop down long box, someone may be nearby to offer help.
Also, need a bit more info such as how do the steering brakes react when you use them? and the foot brake?...the foot brakes are rather notorious to be sticking or frozen.

Re: 40c distributor

Stan, Wow you sure are a font of knowledge! I for one sure appreciate your expertise. I believe what you are saying basically...is that when "jumping" a battery you are actual doing so that would actually be in parallel? I do not have any equipment with 2 batteries so i don't recollect my high schoo...

Re: 40c distributor

Stan, Now that got me curious...if you stack a 6 volt and an 8 volt battery together..in 12 volt charging system..that normally charges at 14 volts...will it charge both batteries properly?...i don't really suppose so, but curious..i know can use larger to jump smaller, but usually cannot leave them...

Re: 40c distributor

Lavoy,

I believe that you also recommend taking the 6volt starter and converting it also to 12volt..which helps eliminate the nose cone breakage?? when converting the system to 12 volt.

Re: 350 Reverser Hot No power to left track

i assume you did check fluids for reverser?...believe they have clutches also...and there is adjustment in reverser, i would start there...then check steering adjustments..if it that hot could be toasted and need new clutchs in reverser
