Re: 65 jd crawler

Welcome to the board.

Several different pumps were used in different models. It would help to know the crawler, 350 or 450, dozer or loader, and pump size. The number you have posted isn't a JD part number for anything I can find.

Re: starter keeps turning

Unfortunately, without the right equipment you can't fully test starter components. It could have weak field coils or a bad armature. You can find online info on testing them that you can do with a voltmeter and ohmmeter. If you do a web search using the Delco part number, you can usually find a few...

Re: 1010 Radiator

Looking at the 1010 crawler parts catalog online, it appears they used 5 different radiators between a serial number break, diesel or gas, and reverser or no reverser. Some (re-cored/reconditioned) turn up doing a web search by the part numbers, but I don't know which one you need. And I can't say i...

Re: Bucket Pins

Welcome to the Board. Don't know if you know about this but the 350B crawler tractor used one parts catalog (PC1169) and the loader attachment had its own parts catalog PC1209. The dozer blades use a third catalog. They didn't put all in one until the 350C. Below are links to the online catalogs for...

Re: JD450 thru JD450G Serial Numbers

Riddle me this. What is a:. Type E7450,. Serial No. 0089xxT. It does not follow the format in the decoder. It has JD450 stenciled on the side. The tag is on the right side of the instrument panel attached with rivets and looks original. For reference of those who may read this in the future. E7450 ...

Re: JD450 thru JD450G Serial Numbers

What I see in the online parts catalog is the spin on filter is on the outside of the tank, not inside the tank. The parts catalog it started with crawler serial number 354075 and was used on the crawlers after that serial number. Two different filters were used in the tank prior to that serial numb...

Re: John Deere track wear gauge

The only one that really needs to be a gauge is the sprocket cup profile. One could copy the profile of a new sprocket cup and cut one out to match thatand it would give an idea of wear.

Re: 350B Water Pump

You are in Canada and I don't know what shipping costs and such amount to but checking with Lavoy is one good possibility. If he can't help you, I would go right to John Deere. It looks like your 350B water pump takes the same rotating parts as my wheel tractors use (the rotating wear parts are comm...

Re: jd 350c hydraulic leak

Welcome to the Boards. A bit of housekeeping. A post with a question like this one you have on your 350C should be on the Late Models Board. Lavoy or a moderator will likely move it when they see it. Looking at the online parts manual the pressure side (going from the pump to the control valve) is s...

Re: John Deere track wear gauge

I believe the JD266 was for the 350s. The JD267 covered the 40, 420, 430, 440IC, 440ICD, 1010, and 2010. The JD268A was for the 450s. All are discontinued, according to the 1986-1987 JD service tools catalog. The gauges are now in undercarriage inspection kits (JT05518 and JT05523) according to that...

When I get a picture, I want to post, I log in and go to My Gallery. When I my gallery opens, I see three option buttons beside it (Delete, Properties, and Edit Files). I click on Edit Files at that point, then go down the list and select the picture I want. Copy everything from the start of the htt...
