420c after another spell in the shop.
Here are a few quick pics after she came out of the shop this last go round. In short it came in for a cracked head and it got the rock guard reinstalled, blade lift reworked, and finally the correct seat from the cobbled up boat seat that was on it previously. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y49/N...

Bill- Keep posting. If you can't post crawler pics here and talk tracked tractors.. we won't be able to anywhere. Looks like you're well on the way to saving the old girl. As for the Wisconsin rust.. I dunno.. my lil 420c came out of the swamps of coastal SC.. I think just rust in general is a pain....

Bill- I may play with it in again this evening.. I just know that Brandon has posted about it and is working on it. Seems like there are issues he's fighting with it and I'm not the only one experiencing it. Two of the computers are XP though and one is Win2000. Thanks for the tip though! Jimmy in NC

I know.. last night I was able to get in and browse just fine. I did take and 'ping' the site when I was able to log in... I come up with an IP address of: 208.67.212.52 I also noticed a thread where Byron was asking and others are having the same issues as me. He said that he'd put in a call for so...

If I try to go straight to the message board I get an internal server error. The wierd thing is this is happening for me in two different locations (work and home) which is two different ISP's and three different computers. I dunno.. all I know is it's a lil frustrating that someone would mess up a ...

Issues with Johnnypopper.com message board.
I know this isn't really a technical site but I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble consistently getting into the new board at johnnypopper.com I know there are several people here that frequent both sites and I think the two compliment each other. I just can't continually get into the ne...

If the tractor was parked b/c of the noise.. be prepared to spend a little money. I haven't found anything that was too terribly difficult on the 420 I am working on.. just a bit heavy sometimes and can be a little expensive. Other things I would look at is the condition of the undercarriage. That i...
