No, rockshaft is the housing for 3PT hitch.
PTO goes in the bottom hole in the back cover on the trans, just unbolt the 3 bolt cover (if you have it), insert the PTO unit, and put the bolts back in.

Larry, There are no bushings in the housing, so if it is rusty, the shaft is rusted to the housing. I would not lift on it, no sense taking the risk. Don I am out of shafts right not, I have one in for cost ananlysis as we speak, have not heard back yet. There are no oversize bushings, I suppose they used to just throw them away.
