If it's the same as a 450, and your description sounds as though it is, yes, the seat cushion sits inside the angle iron frame. My frame just sat on the angle iron on the battery box and hyd tank- making it easy to adjust dry clutches (although the set in seat cushion works, too). Let me know if you...

The bottom of the head has two pin holes for pin-type spanner wrench but my vise grips worked fine. https://farm3.staticflic...

450 dry clutch adjust frequency…your mileage may vary:
Hello all, I realize there are many variables to this question but hadn't seen it asked before: generally, how frequently do you guys find you need to adjust the steering clutches? I had rebuilt one side and adjusted both after bolting back together. Spent about 6 hrs tending a burn pile and noticed...

Was going to rebuild track adjuster, too, but appears the previous owner did a top-notch job already: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7280/13727645673_1cd785f941.jpg 450B by labparamour , on Flickr He must have figured welding the bleed hole shut would fix it! Dufus! I have the rebuild kit on hand bu...
