I vote for Green. I'm not a member of the correct police but I like to stay original if I can.

I like the calendar idea. I like the idea of having a slick, glossy paper bound calendar 10 times more! $20 bucks is a little pricy for a calendar but I understand with a small printing run the pricing would be higher. I would pay the $20 for an ALL CRAWLERS!!!! calendar. Man, that would be GREAT!

Wilson Farms sells reproduction ones. I think their number is - 614-694-5071. They are pretty good but the stamping could be deeper in my opinion. I had to replace one of mind. Just weld it on.

I bought a pair of governer pins and weights from Deere about 6 months ago and about had a heart attack. Those weights aren't cheap but everything I needed to rebuild mine, was available.

I have an orange 420, I'm working on now. Don't know if Deere painted it that way or not but it appears they did. Deere would paint it any color you wanted, if you paid for it. If you are getting 2 Cylinder to do a serial number research, no definative way to know from that. It might have CJ code re...

I have one 420 that was originally orange. I think it came from a hwy dept in PA but that stuff is hard to verify as Dubuque didn't keep detailed records. You could special order any color from Deere if you were willing to pay the upcharge.

430CO

If any of you were at the Expo last week, you may have seen this 430C Orchard. A very nice crawler. Does anyone have a clue about the origins of the orchard fenders? Are they fabricated or did some aftermarket company have a conversion kit? Just curious. http://216.104.73.215/jdcrawlers/pictures/ima...

Good info Lavoy. What's the bracket for on the front of the rockshaft? What attaches to it? Yes, I will need it, I guess. I'll email you.

420/40 3-point Questions

I have aquired a 3-point off a 420C. I'm thinking of mounting it on my 40C. I have never seen one on a 40 but know you could get a field kit to equip them. Will the 420 rockshaft housing mount to my 40? How does the control valve for the cylinder mount? I have the #61 blade on it now with a single c...
