Hi,

Joystick would be for a PAT. A PAT is usually seen on industrial machines. Manual A/T blades are more common on an Ag machine.

A manual blade just has lift, so one lever for that. The 3 pt would be another lever. A remote would be a third. So a 3 lever arrangement makes sense to me.

Hi,

Well, the 350 hydraulic pump is in front of the crankshaft. So, it is a separate system, unlike the older machines. I don't see how that oil would get into the engine.

Hi,

In his first post, he says he did not do anything involving the oil pump.

Of course, someone else could have long ago.

The distributor will still work no matter where Number One points. Get #1 on TDC and the rotor will point to where #1 actually is.

Hi, Re-reading the first post, it was backing up hill and stopped and bogged the engine. Letting the clutch out with the trans in Neutral still results in engine bogging. Then, it is mentioned that the right pedal came loose from the 'clutch' by which I can only think it must be the brake pedal off ...

Hi,

I still have the original edge, worn out on both sides. This one is only half worn on Side One, with the flip side still new. It was put on in the mid 80s. Needless to say I do not use it anywhere near as much, or as hard, as Dad did.... ;)

Hi, One thing that might have been lost, is change the fuel filter. There was probably quite a bit of sediment in the bottom of the tank. It tends to not flow out - until you use that last couple of quarts. That means it is now all in the filter. It is much better to pay for a filter than the pump a...

Hi,

Serial number puts it as 1988. Model is 455G. I am not sure which year saw the split of the model numbers where they started calling the loaders xx5 (in this case 455 vs 450). But, when they did the split, the serial numbers continued their sequence.

Hi,

And, the bad news is, the only way to work on a reverser is to yank it out. Everything in front of if has to come out first.....

Hi, Well, you said the right pedal came undone, and that is the master brake pedal. Now it does not sound like the brakes, as did in the first post. Why it rolls with the engine clutch pedal depressed yet won't power itself is a mystery. The part about the transmission in neutral yet the gearbox see...

Hi,

Yes, three of the teeth it ought to pull OK, and the diet you are planning ought to make it within the lifting range.

Hi, Well, the right foot pedal is the master brake. It pulls both brake bands tight around the steering clutch drums. If something fell apart with that, then it seems as you have both brakes applied. That would lead to bogging the engine when you let out the master clutch, all right. And, would also...

Hi, Just letting you know, your post is being read. In my case, I do not know what you are referring to. I have not had a 350 in decades, having sold mine off in the mid 90s. But, then, mine was a 68 with gear transmission and outside blade and dry clutches. I think you might be referring to somethi...
