Do 450 H tracks fit a 450 B?
Hi,
I am curious what tracks will fit a 450B. Will a set from a 450 C, D, E etc all fit? Or did they change them a certain year.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hey Diesel Dog, Pretty certain you gave me a ring the other day. I don't have a final drive housing. There is a guy in Montrose Pa that has lots if parts but I hear he is a bit salty. Not sure of what salty means since I never called him, but that may help. Lavoy probably has something Send us some ...

Hi icfrace, let me know how you make out on this. I live a couple minutes away and have done this a couple of times. Loosening brake band helps I think it is a 3/4 inch wrench to loosen the brake band bolt. I use a demo bar which is about 1/4 inch thick and slide it between the clutch and final driv...

Had many issues with a reverser and lockout tab. Seen an actual tab on the shifter, a piece welded on the shifter, and also a bolt In the reverse slot. Reverse is all the was left and usually up. Send a pic of what is going on and we can help. Bought a 440 this summer at an auction and forward clutc...

40 had a 5 roller. I think it is a 420 because the drive sprocket looks like the 420 style. It is up to 2600 for the pair already. Any guesses what it will end at? I'd say 3500... I was at an auction down that way in the spring and a 40c 4 roller in decent shape that was in a barn for 10 years not r...

Thanks JT - I will re read everything so I do it correctly. I guess I don't understand why they would of had the volt regulator still wired to the Altenator if it was internally regulated...... (maybe they didn't understand the wiring like me, but at least I asked first). I will probably buy a diode...

This information in excellent, but I still have 1 question: With the 3 wire altenator, is a voltage regulator still required. I am assuming the answer is no, since everything mentioned in the article(s) states the volt regulator is internal to the Altenator. Does this mean all Altenators have intern...

Wanted 440 attachments
Looking for a #24 scarifier w/ shanks and a log arch for a 440.
Doesn't have to be perfect, but looking for them to be complete. I have cash, parts, or maybe a whole dozer for a trade..
What can I expect to pay for these since I never see them up for sale????
Thanks!
Andrew
