i found that i had a bad bearing , replaced with another new one and everything came out ok but now i'm trying to press off the 4th gear on the input shaft to replace those bearings and replace the cluster gear and the 4th gear wont break loose , i dont want to break anything , i thought the woodruf...

yes i have the #8 spacer on the shaft. thats just it , if the spacer is on the shaft , i can move the whole thing in and out . when i take the spacer out and tighten the castle nut to 100lbs i get the preload thickness the book says for .

yes im using the old output shaft and the .024 is the thickness of the shimms behind the cup. after tightning the castle nut to 100lbs and seat it , there still is atleast 1/8 of end play. i did all the measurements that the manual says to do ,to get this far along and they all where good except pre...

i'm in the works of rebuilding my 350's trany, i'm trying to get the output shaft preload right. i've done the cone point adjustment has the manual states, mine came out to be .024 . now the output shafts front bearing preload adjustment dont come out right. with no shims on the front bearing i have...

hello farmboy i'm in the process of rebuiding my 350 crawler. the control valve on it leaks bad , what where the part numbers on the o-rings and everything you used to rebuild yours.

im still confused, fiber disc , snap ring , fiber disc , steel disc , fiber disc, steel disc, fiber disc and so on. if thats right i end up with a steel disc last then the pressure plate.

so the first fiber disc goes on then the snap ring then the steel disc and so on. im in the middle of rebuilding the rear end on mine and the snap ring was first then the fiber disc , i noticed that the fiber disc was cracked all the way around it as it was pushed against the snap ring .thanks the b...
