I ask the same question a few months ago on this forum. The consensus was that if it meets the specs go ahead and use it. It seems most brands are made in the same refinery, the difference is the packaging and of course the price. Also the requirements for these machines was written maybe 50 or 60 y...

The dozer was not running, owner assured the idiot that the ONLY thing it needed was a starter. So, the idiot gets it home, puts a s...

new project
I have another project in the works, as if I don't have enough. I want to build a log loader for an equipment trailer. Found one set of plans at buildit.com. So far that is the only one I have found. Anybody know of any others out there?

I am going to make it road worthy again so I have a backup and for smaller loads. Had just thought since I will have it torn down almost to the frame it w...

Okay, you guys convinced me not to mess with it. I will just make sure I do a thorough rebuild on the brake system. I was remembering a incident years ago with a International with the same system that failed. It made for a very thrilling ride that traumatized me ALMOST as much as my first marriage....

Doing fluid changes, trannies, rear ends, hydraulics etc. is getting to awful pricey. I have usually used brand names like Pennzoil or Rotella or Bradpenn, which is a local brand. The Tractor Supply brand, Traveler is attractive because of the price, BUT, I worry about the quality. Thoughts, opinion...

Huber road maintainer
Thinking of getting a Huber road maintainer, I do some camp roads that are to tight for a regular grader to get into. So, anyone have experience with these machines? Weak points to look for, the good, bad and indifferent?
