You've already discovers the joys of hydraulic fluid! So have I. Amassing how much drains out of one hose!!
That's why I opted to pull the front pin on the cylinder, too. I was able to run a small chain through the rod eye and over the loader arm to support it.
Best of luck.

Saw your post. I only replaced the rubber lines for the bucket cylinders. That required moving the boom cylinder- I pulled the cylinder pins front and rear and slid the cylinder forward out of the frame...enough length in the rubber lines that I could leave them attached to the cylinder. There is a ...

Not sure if you have been looking for the style master pin with a head and retainer clip or the dimpled pin. I think Crawler123 has a great post on when he had to break his tracks. I have the dimes style and torched out the end and hammer them out- there are posts that mention that procedure. Not su...

Looking at the eBay link: that filter looks just like the primary filter on my CAT diesel...the folks at carquest auto parts were able to match it (I love the older counter help: he knew just what it was. The younger crowd needs the year, make and whether the fuel cap is on the left or right and if ...

My manual mentions backing off brake adjustment two full turns (through side cover) and tie handles back 8"- measured at base of handles.
And it warns not to tow over 5 mph so, stay off the highway!
Good luck

I measured my bolts and mine are 7/8" with no shoulder. The challenge I ran into is the limiting factor of the 7/8 bore. When drilling out my broken bolt I had thought about a 3/8 drill chuck on an extension but the chuck had an OD over 1". I turned round stock to 7/8, bored one end 1/8" and the oth...

This thread (no pun intended) has me wondering if I need to make some changes. I just went with 3/4 bolts and now wonder if the difference would be enough to be a problem due to movement/flex. Too bad thread pitch isn't the same- my chart shows 3/4 as 10 tpi and 7/8 @ 9 tpi- you could just run a tap...

I had a wheel tractor that had milky gear oil and it effected the performance of the 3 pt hitch so yours may improve with fresh oil…at least that's a starting point.
As LaVoy said, hy-gard fluid or 303 tractor fluid. A parts house could probably help find an equivalent.

Yeah, I had to do that to remove my broken bolt. Used left-hand drill bits as suggested on this site and was lucky...the drill spun out the broken bolt! Your brake job was excellent and well documented: a very useful tutorial I reviewed a couple times while doing my clutch/brakes. I'm sure you'll fi...

Milky fluid would mean it has water in it. Oil change might help.
Others might know if bad hyd oil might damage components or something else causing the problem.

Not many folks jumping on this one, huh? I had to remove a broken frame-to-bell housing bolt and did it while everything together. There's not a lot of room and, the smaller helicoils I've used require going oversize…I'm not sure the current hole in the frame would permit that. And then there's gett...

I thought I was posting the pics properly so you don't need to be logged in to Flickr.
Anyway, 1" angle and 3/4" tube.
Let me know if you need any other dimensions.
