You can find the spec in the service manual and use a depth gauge or a caliper with a depth gauge if you can't find the tool. All there is to it is a steel rod with a tee on top and the end turned down to fit into a small hole. You adjust the push rod till it just clears the spring retainer.

I am thinking an anual meeting at someones place that happens to own a beer factory, preferably in the Bahamas.
