you are going to spend at least $2000 in consumable material to do this not knowing what else you might find once you start down the path. I am almost finished with two rebuilds (Crawlers not final drives and Clutches) plus the transmission rebuild seals and bearings etc. I also had a spare crawler ...

I have a 1010 Drott, and can measure when I get a chance so it can be confirmed between the two. but like you said you will have a 4-in-1 and they are hard to find. I was lucky when I found mine it was right down the road going to scrap. But haven't taken the time to mount.

I cross referenced all the o'ring, scrapers, etc from McMaster Carr for my 1010 valve rebuilds, and it was only about $100 if that, and got qty of 100 for all the o'rings and scrapers thought about making kits from the xref parts but just haven't had the time.

Ken is right, the sleeve is screwed into that port and it closes off the neutral circuit to the valve return port.

I have this in a PDF document for the bulldozer hydraulics, if you PM me your email I will send it to you.. if you want it as well

the cap you removed and added a hose to, look inside the port, you should see another plug, remove that plug, when installed, the plug prevents neutral oil from returning to the reservoir. then reinstall the hose to the outside port that was capped, then it should work.
