Thank you Jsal, Lavoy and Farmerford for your replies. I completed the job today, changing the fuel filters, sealing up and tightening loose fittings, cleaning gunk from the injector pump, transfer pump and fuel filter mount. I can not believe the GUNK inside the filters! I'm amazed the ole' girl wa...

Fuel injector issues - Finally had to remove the hood

Some of you may remember that when I bought my 350B last month, the diesel engine had a bit of a miss. Until today I have neglected to investigate. I almost ran out of fuel today but shut her down before she just quit, but she sucked some air. I refueled and started her up, but the RPMs were slowly ...

...You sure dont want to cook the machines life blood. I would think that if heat would be an issue, a auxiliary cooler with a fan could be mounted someplace. Either that or possibly mount a removable auxiliary hydraulic tank (with or without cooler) to the rear of the machine. Just tossing out ide...

As I mentioned, is there a "kit" that is available with the components to do that? I don't see thread sizes listed anyplace. Operators manual maybe? Have to wait until mine arrives...

Reverser doesn't reverse

Bet y'all haven't heard this statement before, have ya? :-) So, after looking through the tech manual, I'm assuming that since my reverser doesn't work in reverse that the rear clutch pack must be shot. This is a guess. I haven't tested pressures in the reverser as I don't yet have a pressure gauge ...

Thank you Tigerhaze. Useful information. I looked tonight before reading this post. I do have a little lever. I'm assuming that pushed to the right where it wraps around the shifter exit is disengaged? I had a bad thing happen tonight. I got high-ended on a stump and when trying to get un-stuck, the...

Scotty, is it possible that I don't have a PTO? I haven't seen a lever nor have I seen any output shaft on the rear. I haven't crawled on the ground to check but it's not visible standing...

Scotty, I'm doing pretty well. I haven't yet done anything to the machine except use it. I do all of the work in 1st gear (I've found it!) and when moving from place-to-place I use second gear. I've ordered injectors, they came in last night. Last week I did order an operators manual. Should be here...

I am reading your post about how it will move but appears to be under a big load. Perhaps your drag problem is tracks to tight, or, brakes adjustment wrong. It could be an easier problem that you have missed. Sounds like the park brake is on. Is the brake pedal coming all the way back to the top? S...

There are new ones on eBay for $38 give or take, no sense buying from me at over double.

Thank you Lavoy. I have a miss. As far as I know (which isn't much) I can't think of anything else that would cause this in a diesel. I suppose the injection timing could be an issue. I haven't yet read how set the timing on a pump but I haven't taken off any covers yet. I suppose I could take the i...

350-B injector source?

I believe I have an issue with one (or more) of my injectors. Will somebody please point me to a source where I can get a price to determine if I should just replace them outright? Lavon?

Thanks all!
