One thing I noticed is the owner "purchased this about 2 years ago," Then I notice the date stamp on the pictures is 5/17/01. That is eight years ago. Makes me wonder if these are the current pictures. I believe you need to ask the seller for more-better pictures of the wearable parts on both sides....

When my levers are resting all the way forward, they measure 1-5/8". So I should move them back 1-5/8" from the resting position, 3-1/4" total away from the dash???

After a lot of searching and reading, it looks like the magic number is 1-5/8" from the dash for both the throwout and the brake band. Wouldn't you want the throwout bearing to be set to touch before the brake band? Maybe I am not realizing something. I will try to set them so they both touch at the...

I know there is a "set" distance the steering lever should be from the dash when the throwout bearing contacts the pressure plate. Also what distance should the brake engage. I do not have a service manual and know I have seen these values on this site. I did some searching but can not come up with ...
