Main bearings have not been available for almost 2 years. To the best of my knowledge, Clevite has discontinued them, and will no longer be manufacturing them.

Re: 420c
I can only see one rail, but based on the one I can see clearly, the links look good. Pins and bushings were shot a few hundred hours ago, so no way that is original hours. The pitch is already so far off on that crawler it is eating the sprocket, taking a link out will just finish wrecking it. It h...

Yeah, I think I have welded several over the years and thought they were cast steel.

Re: 420c
As long as you links are good enough shape to warrant it, rebush your exising rails, you will in all likelyhood never wear them out again.
I am working on a new production run of pins and bushings, would hope to start rebushing tracks by this fall if not earlier.

Yes, you can, but by doing so you are doing it knowing that you are running the tracks and sprockets to destruction.

Re: 440IC w/91 loader - possible to remove brake pedal?
Reasonably sure that pedal is cast steel, not cast iron. Drive the crawler up on some railroad ties, slide underneath and weld it in place.
Option 2, cut the part of the pedal your foot pushes on off in the center, remove the pedal, fix the pedal, weld the cutoff section back on.

Re: 350 CE transmission swapped to 350 BB
I may be wrong, but I highly doubt it due to the wet clutches and associated oil flow through the housings.

Re: Final drive gear/bearing keeper
He's working on a wheel tractor, not a crawler, I talked to him yesterday. Wheel tractor uses a one piece affair, can't use crawler pieces to fix it unfortunately.

Re: Single or Double hydraulic system?
Stacking is not factory, and no factory linkages or lever exist to do so, you will have to fabricate most of it. Sideways on the fender is the only configuration for dual hydraulics that is factory.
It will work, that is not an issue, it is just whatever your preference is.

Re: 350 blade arms packed solid with mud/debris
I would echo the power washer, done basically the same thing on trackframes on the 2-cylinder crawlers. It works well, just let it soak up and start to disrupt the hardened dirt, and it gradually washer out.

Same difference, 90% of the clutch parts on ebay are them. I would say junk pressure plate all things being equal. I know their pressure plates, thrown a couple new ones in the scrap dumpster.
