Have a International 500 C crawler, anybody know a source for a GOOD shop manual? Have one from Binder Books, but it is a poor copy, need one that you can see the photos. Don't suggest Red Power, I geuss I'm still a member there, but I managed to insult some people, don't think I'm welcome there any...

Have disagree with jdemaris on this. Had the same problem with the contol valve on my Case backhoe, and replacing o rings solved the problem. Having said that, the Case may have a different internal setup and I could be wrong when it comes to the Deere. Bottom line, o rings are cheap, valve segments...

Hi Andrew Nice job on the cage, I built a four post cage. the front post I mounted on angle iron welded directly to the frame rails. Hope your cage can be disassembled easy. To do the clutches you have to seperate the tracks, drop the rear skid plate. Remove the fenders and the drive spocket. Not a ...

Looking for a project truck

As if I don't have enough to do. I am looking for a restoration project. Looking for leads on a late 40's dualwheel REO Speedwagon.

Not a show truck, but one in restorable condition. My grandfather used them in his buisness so it's a sentimental thing.

Appreciate any leads, Terry

Change in atitude is right. In the late 80's I was on over the road driver, used to run to Toronto and Montreal often. Alaways amazed me driving the QEW, three lanes bumper to bumper doing 75 or 80, if you needed to change lanes, just put your signal on. They would make a hole for you, never do that ...

Digitup, I apologize, should have said North American, down here in the states we tend to forget that what happens here affects you folks too. If we want to get out of this mess we really need to start takeing care of ourselves like we used to. Don't even grow our own food anymore. In the supermarke...

can't win for loseing

wasn't that long ago American's were getting trashed for being materalistic greed heads who were destroying the planet with our selfish lifestyle. The rest of the world was living in poverty because we were such pigs. Now I read that the whole reason the world's economy is going down the drain is be...

Petronix does indeed make a ignitor for Prestolite and Delco distributors. For 6 and 12 volt, positive and negative ground. Found them at Yesterdays Tractor; ytmag.com

Okay, now we're getting somewhere, the info about the 450 trannies and bushings is the kind of info I need to know. Guess what I really need to know is what was the best series of the 450 and why. Wasn't my intention to trash the 350 and upset people, but from reading the site it is obvious they had ...

450 tutourial

A few months ago jdemaris gave us a run down on the weak points of the 350 and what to look for. Found it very informative, now I know to stay away from that model. I am looking for a 450, how about a run down on that model?
