hydraulics

Hi everybody and happy holidays! I have a new project , am installing a Thumb to my 420-C loader and am looking for advice as to hose assemblies and if the 420 HYD pump will handle such an addition. Any help is much appreciated, IMO, this is the place for just that 8)

420 c loss of power

Howdy Dusty, you might want to check your distributor, make sure it is advancing the timing properly, this can effect the engine power making it seem like the brakes have been applied. Of course what do I know I own a '56 420-l-c too

track adjuster

After looking up the MC in my service manual, I see the track tension adjuster is completely different than my 420-C's so all my advice can be tossed out the window with the baby and bathwater  I think Lavoy is on the right track, after all is said and done you'll know her that much better. You...

Is the rear rock/branch/any foreign object preventer still in place on the rear of the Idler assemb...

Hi everyone, good day to you all, I am experiencing a slow lowering of my loader when raised and engine off. could a low fluids level cause this or am I looking for a bad seal?
