Thank you for the part # for the manual. The lift links and the top link are the only pieces that I am missing for the 3-pt hitch. I believe that I have everything else.

I called the John Deere Manual people and they could not find a parts book or operators manual for the 62. Does anyone happen to know the part number for these books? That way maybe they could find them in their system....

Thank you for the information. I'll see what I can come up with. I did not know that 3pt hitches were that rare on crawlers. I'm taking it that the top link is what is worth the most though. They seem to be hard to come by on most tractors.

Since I am new to this you will have to tell me what you are calling the "hitch". If you have a picture it would even be better. :D

Well, why not start by letting everyone post pictures of what they currently have so others like me (who don't know anything) can see what all is out there? I bet somethings will pop up that most people did not even know exist...

That is what I was thinking but just unsure. I have been looking at prices on-line and in some magazines and they have been about the same for something that was already together and running but not restored... I'm guessing the money in the engine and tracks is worth it

Attachments for Crawlers

I'm new to the Crawler side of tractors and looking at purchasing my first 420C. I have been looking through the past posts on the web site and don’t think that I have really seen any of them that are about the optional attachments that were available for crawlers. If anyone has any pictures I think...

420C prices

Howdy everyone. I'm new to the Messageboard and looking at purchasing my first crawler. I know of a gentleman who has a 420C phase III crawler that he and his sons started to restore and did not finish. The engine has been sent off and completely gone through, the tracks have new pins and bushings, ...
