Yes it does look like your rails were cut. On the two cylinder crawlers with 4 rollers, the long track frame for sprocket shields was an option. I don't believe this is the case on the 1010. If you have a chance, take a look. We put a winch on the back of my brothers 420, but without the fairlead, you have to be careful that the cable does not jump up over the side of the winch. In terms of parts, the 2010 and 1010 are a little poorer on parts availability at least from Deere.
