ICD specific parts?
The gas engine on my 440 is due for a rebuild. Compression is not too bad but the rear cylinder is about 15 psi lower than the front. Burns a lot of oil. Bigger problem is a rod knock on cold start. So I've been considering my options. Of course I can rebuild the gas motor. Having the diesel could b...

Cylinder Sizes of Model 64 Blade
Hi Guys,
I've decided to build a power 6-way for my 440 this winter. Can someone tell me the approximate sizes of the hydraulic cylinders on the factory blade? Bore, stroke, and rod diameter.
Thanks very much.

Thanks
Thanks Guys, Not quite sure what happened with the photos. I re-sized to 700 pixels wide but something is not quite right. Anyway, I was lucky. No way to get a wrecker to where the machine was so I would have had to call an excavator...I don't even want to think about what that would have cost me. L...

440 Stuck in the Mud
Hey Guys, Hurricane Irene left me about 40 yards of stone, gravel, and mud in my yard. Took the 440 out to clean it up and got it stuck. Got a little bit loose and before I knew it, sinking deep. Two broken come-alongs and alot of sunk firewood got it out. Man was I lucky. Jack http://thumb18.websho...

You are absolutely right on fuel prices and the track. Only picture I have of it at the moment. Thanks.

What is a very nice 440 IC worth?
Hey Guys, It is not an easy decision but I am thinking about selling my 1960 440. Had a baby boy this month which is great, will need a new car in the spring, and the 440 just does not get used much anymore. Crawler was thoroughly gone through in 2005-2006. Bottom is 90%. Many new rolls and 2 new sp...

Old and rusty
Sorry about that. I just happened to see it, not sure if it went up today or the past couple days. Standard old machine sitting for a long time. Complete and intact, non-runner, outside blade. When I was restoring my 440 I would have loved to find such a parts machine.

Hey Guys,
Saw this CL posting for a 40C in the Catskills of NY. Cheap enough for a parts machine.

I have no knowledge of any kind regarding this, just thought I would pass it along.

440 W/ Power 6 way
Hey Guys,
No affiliation/interest in this machine but power six-ways seem kind of hard to find. Thought someone here might be interested. Tracks look weak. Stuck engine.
