Re: 420 hyd issue

Just make sure your pressure is below 1000 psi or you will damage the pump.

Re: 420 hyd issue

The specifications for the hydraulic pump is 950 psi and up to 9 or 10 gallons per minute of flow, depending on the throttle position. How are you checking your hydraulic level in the tank? With the blade up or down? If you add hydraulic fluid while having this problem, does it help or do you get fl...

The only gasket material that I am aware of that is compatible with brake fluid is teflon and EPDM. There is other materials but I do not think they last as long. It does not look like 603 is compatible, lock tight has a compatibility chart for brake fluid, this is what is compatible All Loctite® An...

Re: Gearmatic 8a Winch/Controller Rebuild

Andrew, congratulations on getting your winch working, it will be a valuable asset for your crawler, as I am sure you already know. Now that you have a winch you will have to build a canopy or some sort of FOPS!!! I am glad that I could help you with with your rebuild, now get some logging chains an...

I throw 2b gravel on the ice. The sunlight warms up the gravel and melts thru the ice a little. That allows the ice to break up while back dragging the blade with a fair amount of downforce, on the ice.

Re: Gearmatic 8G Winch

Have an 8G winch we are working on. Am in need of any manuals or information related to it. Also looking for a few parts: external brake assembly, clutch control lever, and a fairlead. I realize these parts are like finding a needle in a haystack, but if someone could at least provide close-up pict...

yes, the tracks will interchange from a 1010 to a 440. The only difference with the rollers is the bolt sizes, you may want to use some small shim material to make up the difference in the casting hole size.

Re: re..jd420c

The original Jd literature specificitaions for the weight states 4140 - 4700 pounds. But i do not think that includes the blade, then it also depends on which blade was installed and also if it has a winch, etc.
