Yea I looked it up on maps. I'm looking for things to do while I'm there. I don't think a 14 hour round trip is going to be one of them as much as I'd like to. OH well.

Broke down a bought a dozer

I did try to find an affordable (to me) JD but had to settle for an early 50's Cat D4. Once I get it home I'll get a picture up so you all can laugh at me!

Re: What is best for pushin snow

I own a 420 JD w/#62 blade, a 50hp bobcat and a 82hp Kubota front end loader, a parking lot about 100ft x 200ft. Which would be best for pushing snow? I never had to push much snow. Just noticed this one but I'll toss in my 2 cents. Having pushed and piled snow with a verity of equipment and being ...

I don't know who came out with the first reverser but they were an option and many owners remembered well the depression and were unwilling to spend the extra money on something that wasn't nessecary and that they didn't think would pay a return. Then Cat came out with thier power shift that elimina...

WOW, you guys gotta watch this

For all of us running jumping off of stuff and such is pretty normal day to day things we do. I just had a total knee replacement. Boys this isn't what I'd recommend for fun. There are several youtube vids that you can watch of the actual procedure. It's brutal. They dislocate everything in your kne...

Re: Where have all the IH crawlers gone?

Hi, I was at the Got To Be NC fair this past weekend with my local club, running some old engines with belt driven toys attached. Not too many tracks around. I left mine home as well as there is too much pavement at the NC State fairgrounds. There were some Cat and Deere crawlers there, though. And...

Thing is you only need one idiot with more money than brains to call. Few years ago a local guy drove out to Minnesota, from northern Pa. to buy a International dozer. The dozer was not running, owner assured the idiot that the ONLY thing it needed was a starter. So, the idiot gets it home, puts a ...

I'd want one in Browning M2 .50 though!

Lavoy, can't pretend it's on a Sherman without a least a 75 MM gun too. better yer a 90, 105 or a 120! Really like that 120 smooth bore!

Some people!

Was checking out on line ads for small old crawlers. One from the MN Twin Cities area is a JD 1010 crawler loader. That's it! Total description! No price or pictures. Do these people really expect to be able to sell something like that?

Probably a T340 with a 6 way. Lavoy The T/TD 4/5 series were red and white and the nose looked like the 60 series farm tractor. Re: Chainsaw fuel

Was in the local Stihl saw shop a few days back. I see they are selling premixed 92 octane 2 stroke gas in sealed containers quarts-gallons and 5 gallons with guaranteed shelf life of 5 years or more. One of the mechanics in the shop also said that ethanol is very hard on fuel lines and carb diaphr...
