I use a couple of long pieces of rubber conveyer belt that a local quarry threw out. Rolls up easy. Use it on concrete in the shop, over roads, etc.

440 ICC with # 24 scarifier

Picture of my 440IC with # 24 scarifier on the 3 pt., and # 63 blade. Colors don't match, but don't want to paint the 440 as it is original with less than 700 hours. And the tach does work. http://i1070.photobucket.com/albums/u486/papafox1/64%20dozer/IMG_0667.jpg

40C, the muffler can point several ways. Howard, I got the heavy duty option seat from Ted Klee on e-bay. Have the tool bar, but it is still in line for restoring. Pat

Nice looking BO. Looks like the previous owner took decent care of it.

Heres my unfinished # 24. Still have to paint 3 shanks, put them on, and put another coat of paint on.

Had the same problem. Took Lavoys' advice, filled it with water, and in less than a week, it turned with a crescent wrench.

She will probably be a "machine shed Queen" Will drag her out occasionally for local shows. Think Ted Adams archives show only about 114 of these made. Thanks for the comment. Pat

Gordo, are you looking for parts for the scarifier that goes with the 90 loader frame, or for the 3 point type?

For what its worth, I just sold a 440IC at Polks auction. Had new steering clutches, decent undercarriage, bearings in tranny, no smoke-good compression, non professional re-paint, good hydraulics, 62 blade, and 3 point (no top link). Brought $5600. Expected more, but that was what a willing buyer/w...

In my search for shanks for my #24 scarifier, I came across a model 90 loader scarifier, which uses the same shanks. All I have is the shank frame, and attachment arms. No lift arms. It is of course not mounted, but if you want to pm me, I could take some pics of what I have. Or if you were interest...

Thanks Lavoy. I believe Randy built the frame for a guy in Mass., where I got it from, so just assumed the shanks were aftermarket. Any ides on locating shanks? Pat
