I must agree with the rest. That 6 volt should wind right over. Here is my 420 when it was only 10 degrees here in Maine on 6 volt.

I wouldnt. A 3 ring means there is only one compression ring, a oiler ring, and a wiper ring. On the 4 ring piston you have gained an extra compression ring.
