so what does the seal cost between the final and steering brake/clutch cavity cost? anyone got specs on the thing? i have a local supplier that has all sorts of bearings and seals and wonder if he might be able to match it....called akron bearing here. have found all kinds there for most of the farm...

tiger, i have already filled the final....so far no oil into the brake cavity...however i have NOT run the tracks so it has not sloshed the oil around it is up to the check hole but i don't know if the seal is right there or just above it and ready to catch oil on the shaft and then leak thru. i wil...

well got the old girl running! BUT after adjusting 1 1/2 inch free play in clutch back to 1 in free....i no longer have power to tracks and do get a noise from the clutch so twood appear i now have to take her all apart to the clutch and see about replacing whatever in that....so what does engine we...

sounds about right...will get a 20 on the solenoid! and yah i don't need that wiring problem again!!!....burned out the distr..coil and other wires so was a mess!!!!

yup....all kinds of wires hanging down and loose!....light switch dial has at least 4 or 5 tabs that are rusted and half gone so wires not fastened as well as several other locations....so process is getting to them eventually.... the old girl is up and running tho tis just getting all the wires rep...

so the dash fuse sposed to have 2 wires?????? aint no way this nor the brand new replacement dash fuse has 2 wire onit.....
still dont see how it would work!!!!
anyway if not really used or needed i will probably just use inline fuse holders to protect what we need.

how does the single wire to the batt term on switch from the dash fuse protect the circuit??? i thought that the thing would need 2 wire so that the juice flows thru the fuse till it exceeds the amp and breaks the circuit....cant see how single wire from dash fuse can cause a break in the circuit. a...

ok....will check with locals for pricing....looks like gonna be a tite fit and may have to modify seem just a bit long tho fits....just cant see if will interfere with valve cover till i get that back on....
