1010 diesel fuel problem
I know a little more about my fuel problem. The pump shaft is turning and with the little timing cover off, it pushes a lot of fuel out. That isn't a surprise but,the engine will run with it off. Does that indicate that the govenor has broken up and the back presure is relieved, allowing the fuel to...

1010 diesel fuel problem
My 1010 dozer is not getting fuel to the injectors. It was running fine and started dieing; as if the filters were plugging. Replaced both filters and bled them. Cracked the fuel lines at the injectors to bleed the lines but I'm not getting any fuel. I openned the supply line at the top of the pump ...

1010 diesel manifold
Thank you tigerhaze and jdemaris for your replies. JDCRAWLERS doesn't have anything right now and MACFADDSENS hasn't returned my email sent about 4 days ago. I'll try calling, now that, you're quite sure they have what I need. gregjo1948

1010 Diesel manifold
The vertical neck on my diesel 1010 manifold has broken off where it had been previously repaired by the last owner. I'm not sure if I can repair it well enough to last so, I'm looking for a good used one. Does anyone know where to find one and I wondered if the 2010 used the same manifold. Any help...

JD 350 won't move.
I'm looking at a 350B diesel with a reverser that doesn't move either direction. It makes a noise toward rear tranny/rear end. Makes the same noise in all gears and forward or reverse. Any ideas? Thanks Greg

Try cleaning the grooves where the o-rings go and install new o-rings. gregjo1948

Gearmatic winch 8G
I have a 1010c with an 8G gearmatic winch. It is Pto operated and thats all I know. Will someone explain how it works? There are 2 levers, one looks like an E brake on a car, mounted on the right fender and the other on the right side(looking from rear of dozer) of the winch. Thanks, gregjo1948
