I played with the one I bought a little bit using it as a stick welder, and it was the smoothest welder I have ever used. I could not believe how smooth it was to weld with. I do very little stick any more, but as smooth as it was, I am kind of looking for a 150 amp machine just to use for stick. La...

I think the one you are referring to is a Greenville/ATECO loader. Lift capacity is probably 3000 lbs.

Jon,
I can't remember if the 50 is the side shifter or not, but if it is, I would guess it at least at that. If it is not, I think you are real close, 2,700lbs sticks in my head for some reason.

Nope, did sell Deere for a few years though. Okay, I can provide the threshing, cookies and Kool-Aid, ground to work, crawlers and tractors to drive. NOW, you guys have to bring the booze, women and gambling (not necessarily in that order), oh yeah, and a place to hide from the "other" good looking ...

At that money you really can't get hurt too bad. If it does the one job you need it to do, and then dies, deduct the value of that work, and sell it to the next guy. That being said, once you have run one, I kind of doubt you will ever sell it regardless of how much it costs you to restore it later....

I had some more pics of it, and I can tell that at one time in it's life, it had a 3PT hitch.

You know, the 400th used was on April 24th, that is 100 members in barely over two months. At this rate, we will have to have a REALLY big bash next Spring for the 1,000th member.

I can almost guarantee you it does not have a 3PT hitch. The factory setup for a hoe is a large pair of hooks on the back of the crawler that the hoe sets in, same with the scarifier. Normally if it is a loader, there should be a large rack of weights sitting in these hooks if the hoe is not install...

Small pieces are at least primed individually, even most of the larger pieces are. Some of the pieces get bolted together in primer, then shot with a coat of paint. Lots of times after multuple parts are assembled and painted, they will get another coat of paint later.

Mine is an Earh Partners, but they are out of business. Search E-bay under parts washers, occasionally there is one on there, not necessarily the same brand.
I have been looking at buying a new one, maybe you want this one?

Tractor and crawler use the same engine, so will bolt right in. 2010 will bolt in fine, but be careful of the extra power, it will be hard on drivetrain.

It is, I have heard of a 430 set up even wider. I have also seen a 420 that is probably 6' high, used for tree transplanting of some sort.
