With that kind of oil consumption, I would think it would be hard to see the blade thru the smoke. If you don't add oil every 15 minutes, you risk totaling the engine. I'd say,get this job done, then rebuild your engine. gregjo1948

If you're not going to buy it, where's it at? I'd be interested if it's not too far away. gregjo1948

I think undercarriage is most important to check. Rollers, idlers, sprockets, chain, pins/bushings can be costly to buy and labor intensive to replace. Steering clutches and brake bands are next on my list. The engine is quite easy to work on and relatively inexpensive to repair. That's all I have t...

Are you saying there is damage on the head of the piston cylinders? If so, then the controller won't work. This unit is like two master cylinders end to end, controlled by the direction you move the lever. Holes and cracks will not allow the piston to build the pressure needed to operate the winch c...

As it warms up, things begin to expand. It ran good for 5 minutes and possibly the intake has a crack that openned up causing the wrong air/fuel mixture. If that's the case, the openning may have stayed apart and now will barely even run. have you installed a new condenser? gregjo1948

I'm not certain there is a disconnect on all of them. Mine doesn't have one but mine is a dozer not a loader. I did have a 1010 dozer a couple years ago that did have one. gregjo1948
