Re: Oil Level Help
Unless your dip stick is longer that usual you should be ok to move it if the dip stick is showing oil. I would not hesitate to move the machine around with a minimal amount of oil, but I would definitely check the capacities and figure out if I had enough oil in there. It's tough because you really...

Re: Motor wont turn off
I ran the little crawler today and it turned off as usual. I had to turn it off a few times today and it worked perfectly each time.

Re: 450C with 75 loader hydraulic hoses
Those swivel ends are worth every penny. I usually keep my old hoses and in a pinch use them or reuse them on a smaller project like a wood splitter. Also those ends can be reused by grinding off the compression ring and pulling the fitting out of the hose. I use a cutting wheel on my 4 1/2" grinder...

Re: Motor wont turn off
The motor sounded so strong and smooth after the new filters and pump. I ran it for about an hour with no issues....parked it and throttled down to kill it. I was surprised when it wouldn't shut off.

Re: Motor wont turn off
Thanks, During the process of replacing the filters and pump I had several instances where the IP was without fuel (during priming) would this cause my current issue? I couldn't prime the fuel all the way over to the IP because the transfer pump was junk, so the IP sucked air until the fuel came alo...

Re: trying to figure out what year and model and steering trouble
Sounds good. I would adjust everything on the trouble side. Because of 50 years of wear nothing will be totally precise, but adjusting the stick will give you the travel you need to actually move the clutch and brake. Because it steers without a load could potentially be a bad thing. The clutches on...

Motor wont turn off
My 350 is setup with the throttle shut off not the selonoid. I don't even use a key, just a push button to start it. With that said today I had to sink the blade and bog the motor down to kill the motor. I don't think it's a "run away" situation because the motor idles way down with the throttle, bu...

Re: trying to figure out what year and model and steering trouble
Doesn't seem correct to replace everything in the left clutch and brake area and not adjust them. Order a manual from lavoy and search youtube for "John Deere 350 clutch & brake adjustment" Also look into the clutch housing on the trouble side for oil or wetness. It should be dry. If you see oil or ...

I saw that on Craigslist a few weeks back. It's about 200 miles from me...down below Nashville. If I had time I would go look it over.

Re: 3325 winch question
I had a similar issue and never got mine removed...I broke a bolt off trying to pull the cover and decided to just clean everything and put it back together. I had to heat the bearing to burn away the crud. After getting it back together...it worked like a charm. I'll have to rebuild it eventually.....

Page 102 of the parts catalog.
JD 8567 John Deere
8502 Timken and others.
Do your own research, I have had bearings that crossed over, but in reality were different. I would want to measure anything besides John Deere if you were in a rush to get it going.

With the given pump location I'd say your on the right thought process...hopefully it'll be somewhat easy to repair.
