Hi Steve, welcome to the forum. Whereabouts in NY are you?
Oil seals are another thing... I will get those, pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch fibers, brake band.
Thanks for the input guys.
Lavoy, approx how much for these items? I'll send you an e-mail when I come up with the $$.

Where I get sideways with guys is when they post a pic of their crawler with deck plate fenders, an alternator, a 12 volt winch, pick whatever add on you want, then they try to tell me and/or the rest of the world that it came that way from the factory. Now hold on just a minute, buster. Are you tr...

Where did you get those wings? I was actually thinking of fabricating some because it got old fast chasing snow around with a 6' blade with a machine that will push 8' of snow! My dad likes snow piles too, he has a tractor with a truck plow rigged to the loader and stacks up everything from the yard...

I meant wouldn't turn right when I tugged on it. The clutch disengages, I used it like that anyways. I found out if you are under load it steers alright (due to the drag on the non-braking track), either going uphill or pushing snow or jamming the blade into the ground if you start aiming for a tree...

What parts should I have for steering clutch/brake rebuild?
Took crawler out to plow snow, first time I pulled the lever to turn right it wouldn't go, so I pulled harder and snapped the brake band bolt. http://www.badassmustangs.com/forums/Smileys/default/banging.gif Brake band was shot anyways, and the clutch is weak on that side, so I want to refresh every...

Dan, don't buy a steering lever yet, I have one to get rid of but I don't remember which side it is. I got it from eBay to replace mine but it was wrong because mine has the later offset levers, so I just took the handle off it and fixed mine. You can have it for the cost of shipping and some, Lavoy...

The wear I am thinking about is when the bushing of a link rotates as it sits inside the sprocket teeth. This happens as the chain goes from flat on the ground to curved around the sprocket. If you think of a chain link by itself, it's got a bushing at one end and is open at the other. So whenever t...
