There should be a pipe thread plug on the left side of tranny as you sit in the seat... It will be near the bottom but still in the side just before transmission casting folds around... it will be just behind the front of cover of the first section of tranny... in a little pocket,, use a flash light...

Not much adjustment on the 450C as it is a whole assembled clutch pak when you put it in the machine.. springs, plates and disks are checke...

I ditto what everyone else has told you:: this may sound foolish but I think it is either something very simple or the pump... check the simple things first, if it is not one of them , then it's the pump. check to make sure it has plenty of oil,, check to make sure the valve on your right as you sit...

the outer winch drive bearing is jd7145, gasket is t12405 and the rear seal is at11676,, all these parts are at the rear of tranny where pto sticks out of dozer,,, just so we are on the right page.. Willie, it's nothing you can do... you have to take it to a track press shop.. here in Vermont it has become almost unaffordable...especially for the smaller dozers,, as an example a JD450 costs around $1100....and ofcourse you have to take the tracks off and take them to a shop.. you being in south...

350 cable
Wow you must have some big trees Scotty!! I have some JD winches for sale. 2 for a 450 and 4 for 350 if things don't work out... One reason I cut the cable is it usually leaves a big kink in the cable and always frays at that spot... One thing you never want to experience is being in a hurry and gra...

Scotty, sorry to say but you will most likely have to cut the cable with torch or cable cutter.
that's one reason I only use about 75ft,, because they get tangled and get them out,, and it pisses me off to cut a good cable.. but that's life..
good luck Mark.
