I can't help but wonder if there is a mechanical linkage unhooked under the floor pan...or under the seat,, also by clutch housing.. if you could get some one to help you.. have one person slowly push the brake...

You can replace the brake band on straight 450 and 450B without taking the final drive and sprocket apart.. they are hinged in the middle for this reason... I still find it alittle easier when taking out the old one to tie the new one to the old one... then as I pull out the old one the new one foll...
