I have a rebuilt engine here on a motor stand ready to go but I am in Buffalo NY. Freight would probably make this not work.

5 Roller Track Frames

I have a pair of very nice 5 roller track frames. Straight with all holes looking good except for a thread cleaning. They look real good where the idler slides also. Located in Buffalo NY. Pretty much have a 420 that is in pieces that I will not get back together. I would also sell it as one package...

Thanks Lavoy.
There is a guy here in the Buffalo area selling some 40c finals. One is together and one is apart and he said there are no cracks.
If anyone is interested check the Buffalo Craiglist and search John Deere.

40c and 420c Final Drive Cases

Are the final drive cases from the 40c and 420c the same or are they different? I think I read about it somewere but it is not coming back to me. I found a guy with a 40c case and was wondering if it would fit my 420.
Thanks

I actually have the 420 at my shop in Buffalo right on the edge of Lake Erie. We had 1 storm a week and change ago but the winds were so strong that nothing piled up at the shop so I wasnt able to take it out and play-I mean work. I will post up when I can try it on the snow.

Lavoy might have them but the 420 pins and bushings on the JD parts website will give the dimensions when you click the part number when it is in your cart.

These rubber tracks are 37 links, but when you figure in that the link to link spacing is smaller than the 420's, they come out to both be the same length. Unless there was tons of adjustment I dont think they would fit the 1010 or 2010.
