1010rough idle

Hi Sam; You should check the connections on the battery. My brothers 1010 was doing the same thing, we went through about the same process you have. The battery is under the seat, if it isn't secured it may cause the connections to loosen up. Also which type of battery ends are on it. If they are th...

350 fuel issue

I assume this is a diesel, did you purge all the air from the system after replacing filters? There could be something in the tank that is blocking the fuel from getting through or a cracked line that is sucking air.There could be a problem with injection pump. You will get a response from the other...

440ic won't start

Hi Luke; You have checked the obvious reasons for not starting. In your other post about breather tube, check to see if there isn't a blockage in that. Thats the three important things fuel, spark and air. I would check the coil it could be a long shot. Timing could be an issue too,I have seen engin...

12v conversion.

It would be a whole lot cheaper to have the origional starter rebuilt, you could buy new rebuilt is cheaper.If you go 12 v you would have to buy generator or alternator,12v battery replace the guages,lights and everything thats 6v. This is just my opinion. mailtrain

non- john deere

Hi Terry;

Most of the older 6cyl chevy are inter changable. Just check the bolt pattern on the bell housing and sometimes you may have to change the flywheel. It's been a long time since I played with the old ones.
