Well, if I can figure out how to work the wife's digital camera (mine died) I will try and get some pics up of what this crawler now looks like. It is all torn down into individual components. As soon as the wash cabinet is full of new soap and water, the pieces will begin the wash process. Transmis...

It could be done, but would involve a lot of work. More likely just a misstamped tag.

Like Howard said, the bearigns are readily available, but it is a pain to put them in. It might take two guys once in a while, and some patience, but the transmission can be removed out the back of the crawler. About the only way to redo a trans is to remove it. I would put every bearing in the tran...

If you don't have a service manual, I would suggest getting one. There will be a drawing of the assembly there.

Probably a 63, same thing as 62, but push arms are a little different, and mounts are for 440.
Kits are NLA, but the individual parts are, just did mine a year or so ago. Seems to me it was about $60/cylinder, but don't quote me.

If you ever see me refer to a "center throttle" 440, that is what I am referring to. The very last 440's had this throttle design. They also have 1010 final drive cases and sprockets, as well as different axles and different steering clutches.

They should fit all the way down to the 40, but there were some different 350 rollers in later years, and the parts system used to say something about needing shims of some sort. If this is the case, not sure they will fit anything but 350.

The gauge only works to set pinion depth. To do preload and backlash, you have to do it the hard way, pull the bearings, move shims, measure and repeat.

Hy-Gard is what to use.
About the only way to adjust the reverser on a loader is to have someone hang you from the rafters by your ankles. Barring that, just kind of have to do it by feel.
