I usually run mine about 1/2 throttle and it has loads or torque and seems fine.I worry that full power i will break things..Plus i am old and slow myself..lol

Sounds to me like your hitting a home run with that system especially with the oil pad. All you need to add is a additional way to heat up the operator.. :D

Are you just looking for torque specs? clamp nuts 20-25ft lbs,,fuel lines 12-15 ft lbs and rocker are brackets are 50-55 ft lbs

Found it in the detroit service manual too and that says 9 qts also

According to my book it says 9 qts I dont see a list for gas or diesel and it seems that everything else says diesel so i would think thats it..

The white smoke is steam , can do that for both gas or diesel,it depends one where the leak is.. the white smoke is when coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber.. but your leak is oil leaking into a coolant area. those are 2 different types of leaks. you can also have a leak between 2 cylinde...

that can turn into a gamble.. head gasket is best case.. but it could also be cracks anywhere too... head, block, liners... who know.. only way to know for sure is dive in . So with that in mind take that into account when you make a offer and good luck

i stopped by to look at it although i couldnt find anyone to talk to. it looks like with some work it could be fixed up to run again but it sure looks like a waste to see someone took the shifter top off and left it open for the elements .I would be interested to pick it up if the price was right, b...
