From the sounds of it your problem isn't with the return line filter. Generally a return filter is a low pressure filter like the oil and transmission filters. They aren't designed to pressurized much over 250 PSI if that. To cause what you are seeing would mean it is totally block which would cause...

Interesting question, I was going to ask the same thing at some point in time. The manual, at least mine, shows it on top of the reservoir which mine is not. FYI, you'll need to drain the fluid from the transmission before you can remove the plate or the sensor. That area is well below the fill level. Or be very fast replacing the sensor.... 450C Loader Trans Temp Sensor Location
Hello all, new to the board. Have the manuals but have yet to find the location of the trans temp sensor for the gauge on dash. Can anyone please point me in the correct location.
