1957 420C - Pressure in fuel tank
My 420 is gaining pressure in the fuel tank. There is not heat associated with it, the tank is cool. I put a new vented cap on it and though it says made in China it is functioning no better than the USA made one I had on it. It steadily builds pressure. There is no incorporated vent system on the t...

420 - 1957 Question about pressure in the fuel tank.
I posted the other day about excessive pressure in my fuel tank.
Its a 420 - 1957
A fella I know suggested that an intake valve can stick and cause pressure in the fuel tank. I guess I'm curious if anyone has heard of this?

Scary moment with my 420c.
I was helping a friend cleaning out a tank on his property down here in Texas. The crawler was running at normal temperature but it died and it sounded like it had run out of fuel after I went over a bump. Thinking it was out of fuel I open the gas cap and fuel literally spued into the air it went u...

Crawlers and Boats
I've had a few crawlers. I've never made any money. I enjoy operating a crawler, I enjoy tinkering on them, and mostly the sound of those two cylinders can't be beat. Take it logically. You have a parts crawler. Go buy one that's running, driving, and use yours for parts. If you had experience and k...
